We are thrilled to announce that Holland has received the REMSA Innovation Award for the Hybrid Welder®! Holland’s Hybrid Welder® features the same industry-leading equipment as a traditional MobileWelder®, with a battery-powered welder head.

This allows us to deliver the high quality flash-butt welds Holland is known for in a more sustainable package. The design also eliminates mechanical systems known to be failure points and increases Holland’s already industry-leading uptime. This sustainable unit reduces fuel consumption and emissions, reduces noise to increase the safety of our operators and the surrounding environment, and complies with future emissions requirements. The Hybrid Welder completed AREMA testing on several rail types by various manufacturers and achieved the same or better weld quality conformance rate as a traditional Holland MobileWelder. Additionally, batteries deliver more consistent welding power than standard generators. Our Version 2.0 design eliminates failure points, enables faster charging, and features an innovative crane design with > 90 ° swing for versatile welder head deployment, and can deliver over 40 welds per shift.
